5 Unique buildings Coming in 2016
1. The Sky Pool (London, U.K.)
The Sky Pool is located in London's Nine Elms district. Once finished, this building will be the first to contain a sky pool that is situated 10 stories high. The Pool will be 25 meters long and the pool's glass will be 8 inches thick.
2. The Louvre Abu Dhabi (Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates)
Aiming to be the next significant art destination, United Arab Emirates and France planned to build the Louvre Abu Dhabi. It is designed by architect Jean Nouvel, a Pritzker Prize winner. On the official website, the museum says, the white dome on the top is "an emblematic feature of Arabian architecture, evoking mosque, mausoleum and madrasa".
3. The San Francisco Museum Of Modern Art (San Francisco, Calif.)
The San Francisco Museum Of Modern Art will reopen in May 2016 after a three-year transformation. This building was originally 225,000 square feet, and now the architecture firm will create 45,000 square feet more space for the public as the free access to the ground-floor galleries.
4. The Agora Garden (Taipei, Taiwan)
The Agora Garden is located in the Xinyi District in Taipei. It is designed by Vincent Callebaut. The features of this building include having a photovoltaic pergola that can transform sunlight into electricity and abundant vegetation.
5. Zlota 44 (Warsaw, Poland)
Aiming to establish a new level that can reflect the aspirations and successes of Polish people, the designer design Zlota 44 which is a high-rise residential tower.
